When you need Asian flavored chicken broth quickly, you can use regular store bought chicken broth. Just add few green parts of scallions and slices of ginger with skin attached. Boil the broth 10 minutes or so, the flavor of ginger and scallions start to permeate through the air.
The broth is perfect to be used as hot pot soup base.
